Tadamasa Iguchi

Born in Tokyo in 1984, I taught myself design.
After managing a club in Shibuya, I worked at a design firm before moving to the U.S. While interning as a web designer and programmer at the San Francisco creative agency btrax inc, I began my journey in photography.
Upon returning to Japan, I worked as a web director and photographer for the web magazine Qetic, where I photographed live performances and portraits of many domestic and international artists. While working on a variety of projects—from website creation to art direction, photography, and video direction—I came up with the initial concept of “digital branding.”
In 2012, I founded IN FOCUS, where I’ve managed the business while also handling various projects. In 2021, I opened CONTRAST, a creative studio focused on the theme of “reconstruction.” In 2023, I established a New York office.
My daily work is guided by the motto, “Proposing new perspectives by intersecting diverse digital expressions.”
