

UMITO, which operates small luxury hotels across Japan with the concept of “a private retreat by the sea,” has enlisted novelist Keiichiro Hirano as part of a promotional campaign. Inspired by his stay at UMITO Kamakura Yuigahama, Hirano has penned an original essay, “Time with the Sea”.
IN FOCUS was in charge of planning, production, art direction, and design of the article ads. The essay will be featured in UMITO’s catalog and in advertorials across various media platforms. Additionally, an interview with Hirano, conducted on the day of his stay, will be available on the company website.
